  • East African Spice Guide: Smell, taste, and discover traditional spices like cardamom, cloves, and coriander.
  • Preparing Ugali & Sukuma Wiki: Together, we cook the East African national dish made from cornmeal and pair it with savory, braised African greens.
  • Baking Chapati: Learn the art of pan-baking perfect, layered, and deliciously fluffy African flatbreads.
  • Folding Swahili Samosas: We prepare crispy pastry pockets with savory fillings and learn the authentic folding technique.
  • Kachumbari Salad: A fresh, zesty tomato and onion salad served as the perfect side dish to any traditional meal.
  • Shared Feast: After the hard work, we enjoy all prepared dishes together in a warm, welcoming setting of East African hospitality.
  • Closing Tea & Coffee Ceremony: We round off the workshop with traditional African tea (Chai) or coffee and an open, relaxed chat session.
